Rev. JoeAnna Thornton Brooks
Rev. JoeAnna T. Brooks' belief is God's people is edified when God is glorified. The daughter of the late Bro. Raymond and Pastor Rose Mary Thornton, Rev. Brooks is the oldest of eleven children (four are deceased), and she is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Rev. Brooks, mother and grandmother, gift is to enlighten others by teaching and spreading the word of the Lord. Her faithfulness is not only in her commitment to God, but also in her commitment to serving others. Because of her strong belief in the power of praise and worship, she is a woman who is passionately dedicated to leading God's people before the throne. Most importantly, she is a woman, mother, grandmother and a Virtuous Woman of God. Rev. Brooks' prayer is that minds will be renewed, miracles will manifest, lives will be transformed, souls will be saved, and brought back to Christ.
She earned an Associate Applied Science degree in Office Associate and Legal Assistant (Paralegal) from Blinn College. In her professional career, she is an Administrative Associate lll at Texas A&M University Ecosystem Science and Management. Rev. Brooks is the founder and owner of Little Angel's Designs and Printing. Also, she has successfully met the Texas requirements regarding the Qualifications of an Impartial Third Party (Mediator) and Notary.
Rev. Brooks' mentor was her mother, the late Pastor Rose Mary Thornton. Rev. Brooks was actively involved in her mother's ministry as well. Pastor Thornton's passion was to love, care and encourage her children and God's people. "The late Pastor Rose Mary Thornton was an excellent mother and pastor, her teaching and preaching will always be with us," states Rev. Brooks.
